Our victim-blaming culture sustain abusers and keep victims from seeking support due to shame. In this session, we aim to explore how domestic abuse affects victims and everyone around them, along with coping strategies in the event of domestic violence.
We can’t argue that the presence of the men in our lives greatly influence the way we behave, present ourselves and think. In this session, we will explore how we view the men in our lives, along with what sort of impact they leave on us as women.
This Hari Raya Aidilfitri, in an effort to create our safer space, we invite you to celebrate Hari Raya with us. Come mingle with friends and make new(er) ones, too. No conversations are too queer and who knows, you may even bring home some food for thought. This is an event to bring LGBTQ+ and allies together.
